Is my personal information secure?

ClixSense.com utilizes the latest security and encryption techniques to ensure the security of your account information. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We view protection of users' privacy as a very important community principle. We understand clearly that you and your information are one of our most important assets. ClixSense.com will however, always cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and authorities in any investigations concerning fraud or any type of Internet crime. We store and process your information on computers located in the United States that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices.

I need to update my profile information, how do I do that?

Log into your ClixSense.com account. On the left menu, click the "Details" link. There you will be able to update your account information. After updating your information, click the "update account" button on the bottom of the page. Failure to click the “update account” button will cause your profile to default to your original settings and your changes will not to be saved.

My account is closed, can I reopen it?

You sure can. Just attempt to login to your account and you will have the option to reopen it or you may submit a support request below and be sure to include your username or email address associated with your account:

Do Premium members get paid more to view ads?

No, Premium and non premium members are compensated the same amount for the advertisements they view.

Do you send checks to my country?

ClixSense will send a check anywhere in the world. All checks are sent in US Dollars. If you live outside the USA please be sure to check with your local bank to make sure they will accept a check issued in US Dollars.

How do I get paid?

ClixSense Payments are automatically disbursed by check and mailed to the postal address on your profile on or before the 10th day of each month for earnings of the prior month provided that your account balance has reached the minimum payout level of $10 (you may select a higher minimum payout if desired). If your account balance is less than $10 (or the minimum payout you selected), earnings will carry forward until such month as you have met the minimum check requirement. All funds are sent in US Dollars.

What is a premium account?

Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Many advertisers prefer to limit their paid advertisements to viewers who have proven purchasing power. Upgrade your account to "premium" status today and start seeing more paid ads to your ClixSense.com account. The cost to upgrade to "premium" status is $10.00 USD and is valid for 1 year from the date of upgrade.

Why should I upgrade to a premium account?

Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Premium members may have the opportunity to view more ads, thus earning more money since some advertisers select only to display their ads to viewers who have proven purchasing power.

How long does it take to upgrade my account status to Premium?

Once ClixSense.com is notified by the payment processor that your payment is completed, your account is automatically and instantly upgraded. Some payment processors do not "complete" your payment until certain verifications are completed. If your account status has not been upgraded within 48 hours of payment please notify us so that we may investigate.

What method of payments do you accept for upgrades?

At this time all advertisement purchases must be processed through Google Checkout. Google is extremely user friendly as well as safe and secure. If this option is available to you for account upgrades you may mail a money order in the amount of $10.00 USD to the address below. Please be sure to include your ClixSense.com account information. When and how will I receive my earnings?

How do I earn money with ClixSense.com?

Once you are logged into your ClixSense.com account, click the "Browse Ads" link. On the "Browse Ads" page you will be shown a list of ads that are available for you to view, in addition to how much viewing that ad pays. When you click on a link for an ad a new window will open with a timer at the top of the page and the advertiser's page in the bottom frame. Once the timer counts down to zero (0), the amount stated for viewing the ad will be credited to your ClixSense.com account.

How much do I need to earn before I receive a check?

The minimum check amount processed by ClixSense.com is $10.00 U.S.D.. You may also select higher disbursement amounts through your account profile if you wish.

Can I use my earnings to purchase Clix?

Yes. You may convert your account balance to "Ad Credits". When you log in your account you will see a "convert" link next to your balance. Click that link to convert your balance to ad credits. You can also perform the conversion on the "manage ads" page.

Can I use my earnings to upgrade my account status to Premium?

**New** Yes ClixSense now allows you to use your account balance to to upgrade your account to Premium status. Please note, you must have a balance of $10.00 or more to make this request.

Are there any fees to earn money on ClixSense.com?

No. You do not have to pay any type of fees to earn money with ClixSense.com. A check processing fee of $3 will be assessed when a check payment is sent to you from ClixSense.com. Additionally, if you wish to optionally upgrade your account to "Premium" Status additional charges may apply. See the "Premium" upgrade area for the most up to date information.

What is the difference between a regular and a premium ClixSense.com account?

Is ClixSense.com an Autosurf?

ClixSense.com is not an Autosurf. Autosurfs are programs that automatically load ads in the browser without a viewer necessarily ever seeing the ad. With ClixSense.com, advertisements are truly viewed as the member must be present to open the next advertisement available to them.

I share a home with my Brother, my cousin, and his girlfriend - Can we each have a ClixSense.com account?

To protect the integrity of the ClixSense.com advertising system only one account per household is permitted. This is strictly enforced. Advertisers have paid for unique views of their product/service. To safeguard the value of their advertising dollar the ClixSense.com Fraud Prevention Department regularly reviews accounts for violations. Any account found to be in violation is suspended and any commissions earned are immediately returned to the advertiser. Again, this policy is strictly enforced and all determinations made by the ClixSense.com Fraud Prevention Department are final.

I have been offered an automated system (Bot) to view Clix. Is this permitted?

To protect the integrity of the ClixSense.com advertising system “Bots” that automate the viewing of clix are strictly prohibited. Advertisers have paid for unique views of their product/service. To safeguard the value of their advertising dollar the ClixSense.com Fraud Prevention Department regularly reviews accounts for violations. Any account found to be in violation is suspended and any commissions earned are immediately returned to the advertiser. If your account arises the suspicion of using a "bot" or "autoclicker" your account will be terminated and earned monies returned to the advertisers without question. All decisions by ClixSense.com security department are final.

Can you send my earnings to my PayPal account?

We do not send earnings to PayPal. All earnings are sent to your mailing address. We must enforce this policy to combat multiple accounts who would rob you of clix availabe and the advertisers of their advertising dollars. Thank you.

Why arent there more ads available to me?

The volume, frequency and value of advertisements targeted to your specific profile is entirely dependent on the advertisers and will vary from day to day, even hour to hour. Logging into your ClixSense account more frequently should avail more ads to you as you will find ads from smaller advertisers before they are consumed by other members.

I do not get a timer when I am viewing ads, what happened?

When you click on the browse ads link and are not seeing the timer frame at the top of the screen, this usually means that you are using a non standard browser or you have javascript disabled. We recommend that you use Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher or Mozilla Firefox. Please be sure that you have enabled javascript in your browser. To enable Javascript in Internet Explorer please do the following: (Firefox is down below) In Internet Explorer 7 click on the 'Tools' button located in the upper right part of the screen (next to the gear icon) and select 'Internet Options'. Click on the 'Security' tab and then click on the 'Custom Level...' button. Scroll down until you can see scripting. Its located near the bottom of the list. Set the option 'Active scripting' to 'Enable'. Then click on the 'OK' button. You will be asked if you want to change the settings for this zone, select yes. Close your browser and try browsing ads again. To enable Javascript in Mozilla Firefox: In Firefox click on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options'. Click on the 'Content' tab, check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and finally click on the 'OK' button. This concludes enabling JavaScript for Mozilla Firefox.

Spam Policy?

You may not promote your referral links through unsolicited emailing (i.e. SPAMMING), newsgroup postings, or any other method of mass communication. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of your membership with ClixSense.com, and may result in legal prosecution. ClixSense.com strictly enforces anti-spamming laws. Spamming is a federal crime. Any member caught spamming will not only have their account terminated immediately and lose any past, present and future earnings, but shall also be held liable for spamming as we shall cooperate with any authorities and investigations that may arise from the spamming incident. ClixSense.com may fine your account up to $5 per spam email reported from you email address.

How does the affiliate program work?

ClixSense.com members may earn commissions by referring new members to ClixSense.com when affiliate promotions are in effect. ClixSense.com will announce the beginning and ending dates for any affiliate promotions offered either by email notification or notification posted on the ClixSense.com website.

How do I refer new users to ClixSense?

Log into your ClixSense.com account. On your main screen once logged in, you will find your own personal referral link listed. Send your referral link to potential referrals. If a new customer is brought to ClixSense.com through your personal referral link, you are credited with that person as a personal referral. You are then paid a percentage of any advertising that referral does on the ClixSense.com Advertising system.

A friend of mine signed up using my referral link but I do not see them in my downline - what happened?

Your referral may not have had their pc set to accept cookies or there may have been some other type of computer “glitch” on their end. If the referral cookie is set, ClixSense.com will credit you with the referral. ClixSense.com cannot control the computer settings of your potential referrals and cannot be held responsible for referrals not credited. ClixSense.com will also not move referrals from one sponsor to another.

Does ClixSense rent or sell referrals?

No. We feel that renting or buying referrals is a bad practice as you may purchase a referral that never logs in or is not active in ClixSense.
